Growing interest in karate

There has been an increase in interest in karate in recent years, with more schools starting karate clubs and people from young children to people in their twenties learning the sport. This increase in interest is most likely due to the success of karate as an official sport at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. People were drawn to the appeal and fun of karate at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and were inspired to learn the sport. The World Karate Federation is working to make karate a part of the Olympic program.
