Darbhanga Karate Kids with great results

Thanks to the efforts of karateka, the city of Darbhanga has excelled in the field of martial arts.
The athletes showcased their impressive skills at the Azadi Cup All India Karate Championship 2024 and emerged victorious.
In the tournament, which was held in Patna on August 25 for boys and girls in the age group of 7 to 25 years,
Darbhanga Karate Kids won three gold , three silver and six bronze medals.
They competed in categories like Team Kata , Kumite and others and won their respective categories. 

Why Darbhanga Karate Kids performed so well

Darbhanga Karate Kids have been training rigorously under the guidance of their coach,
a renowned former karateka, and this outstanding performance shows that his guidance has been effective.
The coach said that this tournament allows the youngsters to gain experience and improve their skills and it is important for them to learn different techniques at a young age.

Karate dropped from Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Karate was excluded from the 2024 Paris Olympics,
with organizers citing the sport’s unpopularity with young people and low entertainment value as reasons.
It will also be excluded from the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics,
and the president of the World Karate Federation said that karate is a universal and well-structured sport and that he will continue to work to bring it back to the Olympics.
